How much land are we giving at what price and how many jobs are getting created against this? Not that I am claiming this deal is shady, but data centre's even in the US have absolutely ridiculous corporate political fraud. Like govt would give 150M n subsidy and get 30 local jobs or something like that which is just for namesake.
Also the electric needs of a data center is super huge

Data centers are the worst. They bring very less number of jobs (think how many people can be employed in the same space if it were a regular office). Hogs natural resources - water, electricity industrial space what not. Good for google but bad for AP tbh.
