It was a lose-lose either way.  Americans are fucked no matter what, with food or healthcare.  Though I fear it will be a temporary reprieve no matter what.  It would not surprise me in the least to see them cut it after the government is restored.  All in the name of stopping corruption, only to not find any evidence of said corruption *after* they cut the program that so many people need.

I don’t like it but we can’t have chaos at the airports and starving families during the holidays season. The Dems won big last week because they held firm and public sentiment was against Trump. They did an admirable job being the minority party without leverage. The midterms maybe the only saving grace for Obamacare

The Dems set clear requirements as to what they needed to vote for a funding bill. They just witnessed an absolute sweep across the country in an off year election.
