It's sad that maybe, just maybe, honourable ones would get butchered too in the process. But it's collateral damage.

Unqualified teachers have the capability to destroy the education of entire generations, thus making or building the future. So seta te compromise korle future is bleak.

Addition: What matters is tracing the trail to the real heads of the scam. Seta hobe ki? Na shudhu projarai prosecuted hobe.

Honestly a re examination should be conducted to give the genuine candidates an opportunity to verify their claims and keep their jobs. Scam candidates won’t be able to do it, if they had any credibility they wouldn’t need to commit such scams.

It is essential that the avenues which lead to such tampering (of OMR and tabulated marks) are identified and addressed. Until then there will be more instances of such colossal waste of opportunity, resources and despair.

This entire episode demonstrates that there needs to be a society driven demand to address corruption at such scale. Public services need competent individuals to deliver a level of quality and the government should be held accountable for the ruinous end game.

Court/Judges are incompetent, the fault is on government and it’s officials side then why any genuine teacher have to lose the job? If government and its officials can’t find out the fake teacher they should be sacked before any judgement.

Same happened in Haryana in one exam. The exam was cancelled and was taken again. Later they added 5th option as 'Don't want to answer'. Candidates had to darken that if they wanted to skip a question. So basically candidates had to fill one option for all the questions. If they leave even one blank, they get disqualified.

What they do is they just submit the omr with just their roll number and then after the exam, they have a "setting" with the recruitment board which fill the empty omr with correct answers which would give them highest marks and bring them among the tops in the merit list.

Simple truth - the government doesn't have money. Like any increasingly bankrupt organization, it's borrowing relentlessly and struggling to stay afloat. Bengal is probably in the top 6 indebted states in the country.

Unless and until the government finds ways to earn, no amount of reformed exams will help.

The govt employees of West Bengal get the least salaries in entire India, they are behind in pay commission, DA rate, HRA, everything. Comparatively most states, if not all pay nearly 1.5-2x the amount for the same post to their govt employees.

"WB govts salary is well above market rate" - this statement is highly controversial. Because WB govt te ekhon pray 75% contractual employees. Tader average salary 15k-16k (non technical) with around ₹400-500 per year fixed increment. But in case of private sector, you may start with 15k but within 1-2 yrs your salary will reach 18k-20k and if you keep changing companies then you will get much higher salary. 

Now for permanent govt post, state govt already has a huge deficit in DA in comparison to Central Government salary. 

For example, a group D staff in Indian Railways gets around 27k pm where in case of WB, a clerk (grp-C post) gets around 28k. WB grp - D staff gets around 18k-20k. 

So your statement is not true.
