Prayers to those that lost their lives and to the families that lost loved ones in this tragedy.

I am watching this video after we had a devastating Teesta river flood in Sikkim, 3 days back due to the outburst of South Lhonak lake which then broke a Dam that itself contained more than 5million cubic meter of water. Destroyed more than a dozen of bridges and hundreds of houses.

Yesterday an asshole MLA, literally stopped on road, rolled down window washed his hands and threw plastic bottle on road. This is in a gated community. So sad

I with my wife travelled to Sikkim last year in September end. We planned north Sikkim for 3 days and booked a taxi online. Everything was good except we got sumo car in taxi. Roads are really bad and you stop feeling your legs after the ride to Lachen and then to Gurudongmar lake.

Travel Agencies anywhere in the world are a scam. They know tourists will unknowingly have to depend on them, and they misuse the power.

North Sikkim is a wonderland. It's very off beat and lacks fuel stations. You should plan your travel, know about the geography and map before going to some remote/exotic places like that.
