Because indias industry is still developing, they are in a very unique position to go to green energy without first having to slowly switch to it whilst changing long-standing systems that come with a network of dependancies like the more developed countries have.

Hope they realize this, because it could put them in a great position.

But from whats said in the article, it sounds more like they are making empty promises to please the rest of the world.

Even if they are successful, it’s probably only remotely helpful. Unless China and US stop spewing 7 times more emission than India itself. Dominant powers target smaller countries to enact a change that they can’t afford and can’t do. And its these same small countries that are going to suffer first. No wonder duterte pulled out of that climate change committee bull.

Well Planned cities are not going to flood, if the Storm Drainage systems are designed well.

Every major state needs a Tier 1 city. You are never going to get business coming into a state with tier 2 or tier 3 cities.

Tier 1 cities attract educational institutions, businesses and people. Vizag has never been able to do that. Attract talent and businesses that come and go with Government changes.

As far as cities getting drowned goes, unless responsible governments are elected, even the best planned cities can be destroyed.

I think the prices are based on expectations on what could be at the end 3 years from now and also due to dormant activity in real estate in the previous term, maybe fuelling the feeling things are overpriced, remind yourselves this is the prime real estate in state 

Farmers or speculators in the area who are selling are just taking these factor into account, and for most of them, this all the property they have to capitalize on!

Think of it this way
No city in India will have such wide roads, footpaths, and the deal breaker for me,  things that are underneath once the tarmac is laid the sewer lines, strom water ducts, power &amp; gas ducts
