3. Misri came and asked Pakistan to respect ceasefire. The meek response was evidence of the fact that we were being held back by US

It’s certain now that India targeted Pakistani nuclear facilities giving hints that “your nukes are within our reach”. Trump immediately jumped in after we bombed Nur Khan,Rawalpindi and Kirana Hills,Sargoda. 

Militarily superb performance but as usual India was held back by our own Political masters and arm twisted by Western powers.

The sensible thing was to initiate a ceasefire and peace talks, but would the logical move have been to strike more aggressively at additional terror targets?

I'm worried about how long this will last.
Pakistan seems desperate to get a good hit in despite having off ramps previously. And it also raises the question of how long can thus physically go on for? We definitely can last longer, but how long can Islamabad last?


Beyond our own strikes, Balochistan has experienced a series of attacks on military forces so they're dealing with a lot already. But Asim Munir seems very determined on an ideological level as well, not just limited tactical or strategic goals.


If this does escalate to war, what would our objectives even be?

This showed that Pakistani air defenses can't stop Indian standoff missiles even when Pakistani defenses are at their highest alert, using their mainly Chinese air defence platforms. Paints the Pakistan military an extremely poor light, globally. There may have been Indian Air Force losses - but that's not the point. Attrition is part of military action; our brave volunteers know this when they sign up.

The point is - this can be done, and individual buildings can be targeted from the Indian side of the border/LoC, representing a step-change in capabilities from 2019 - when targeting data and ISR (Intel, Surveillance, Recon) was a deficiency. That a few interesting Synthetic Aperture Radar Indian satellites have become operational since then, is no coincidence. 

There are a lot more missiles where these came from, and India knows where Asim Munir's generals live. Pakistan does not have a reciprocal capability. They know this, and that's enough. Body counts aren't what we are after. This is strategic signaling.

I think our government is acting politically rather than getting the work done(killing those basterds) they should have killed those bastards indirectly using spies or should have taken them one by one that would have saved 12 innocent civilians died in poonch.
