Result of corrupt governance
Bengaluru - a city that has a shortage of drinking water gets flooded at the same time...
GOOD LESSON BY MOTHER NATURE
Government came and gone but Bangalore situation remained same, infrastructure is worst, no proper city planning, no proper drainage system, no proper waste management.
Criticism of the city is towards the civic authorities who are in close cahoots with the real estate folks and corrupt to the core.
Not every problem gets solved by saying- "Hey, but that's not happening in older Bangalore, only in newer areas". Newer areas are where any city grows, and the policies being followed there decide what the city is going to end up being like in the next 10-20 years.
Try telling that to family of the girl who lost her life yesterday due to electrocution.
God save this city. God save this state. God save this country.
