Check your account of any lien amount there. Once i paid someone and that shop didn't receive the funds so both bank marked lien twice resulting I was not able to use double the amount. I visited branch and it solved. Seems same just scam is involved here.

Firstly it’s by rule, I’d also filed a similar cyber crime complaint in 2023 but this related to some other incident. As a protocol your account will be blocked, This is only to trace &amp; track. Don’t get paranoid, Few days / weeks you’ll get your account unblocked on it’s own without much issue. 
Also you should received the amount back, As the account where it has got deposited will also be frozen. So high chances the owner of this account might actually call you up to withdraw the case &amp; he would debit back the amount. 
I received the entire amount without any issue within a month. This was around 60K.

Sorry dude that I have to break it to you this way but it's completely on luck if you'll get it or not and the efforts you make. My friend was trapped in the same scam and his complaint was registered in a police station in Andhra Pradesh and as usual the cops at the lower post used to attend his call and didn't do any good but he somehow arranged the number of the SHO of that police station I don't know how he did that but then after informing the SHO within 15 mins he got a call back from the police station and now the same person who was just mentally torturing him for weeks was now totally humbled and cooperated with him and he got the clearance letter from the police which he submitted to his bank and his account with his money was back to him.

In my opinion It's just a way to create a state of hesitation among people who want to use crypto or get into it cause these police stations get N number of these same scam cases and they know it very well that the person in trouble who is calling is 100% innocent but they still choose to harass them!

Oh, you needed help: Here is the help you need:

1. The amount is too low. You will lose more trying to recover it. 
2. Leave the lien for sometime. If the case is resolved, there is a TINY chance that the lien will be lifted. 
3. If not lifted for over two years, pay the rest of the money and close the lien. 
4. Stay the heck away from P2P, and concentrate on your studies. 
5. Stop whining like a victim. You are not. You participated willingly and took on the risk. Nobody is going to sympathise with you and that is life. Your 'proofs' and 'I did nothing wrong' doesn't always work in real life. 
6. Count this as your lesson in life. It cost you some money, but believe me, we have all learnt from the school of hard knocks and it does make you a better person if you learn the right lessons. Chances are that some will learn the wrong lesson from the experience and will get into deeper problems. 
9. Know this - this too will pass. It is okay. It could have been worse. You are young and you can make this back. Don't worry too much about it. 
10. Breathe in and out. Assume that money is gone. All is okay.

I am sure anybody who knows about USDT and understands crypto wallets, exchanges, how to transfer and stuff will know the risk, but people always throw up the pikachu face when they get their accounts frozen with liens. 

Here is the rule: 

P2P (espl. with USDT) is risky. You will get screwed at some point in time with tainted money. But nah, it won't happen to you. Because you are so special. -----&gt; is the mindset that will ultimately get you into trouble.

Report the buyer to binance that u got freeze in your bank account, then show them the cyber complaint and u will get your usdt back. This works only if the buyer is still active and doing transactions and has usdt in his binance account.

First enquire the bank where the fir was registered. You said it was layer 5 which means your friend has money trail of layer 4. Both you and your friend visit the cybercell nagpur and tell them the story and they will ask you 6 months bank statement and if all the details are correct then they will give a no objection letter. Then submit that letter to bank and they will unfroze the account in 1 week. They will ask your friend where the fraud money came to them. This is the best way to ressolve this issue. If  you go to court then it may take time.

The Court has called upon you to explain your story. Its better that you find a lawyer who can file your statement. You can notarize it and send it to the local lawyer who will file on your behalf. 

You may not need to travel, but will have to check with the local lawyer or seek permission of the court for exemption from appearance. Unfortunately, this whole process may cost you more than15000/-. If you need reference for lawyer from Nagpur, ask here, some may help.

Fact of the matter is that, no matter how good the reviews of the buyer is or who you are selling, if they are unknown to you then there's hardly anything that can be done, around 90% volume of p2p is done to serve money laundering and that's the problem that has to be stopped.

Even if one does everything on this list, there is still a non-zero chance that your bank might freeze your account for crypto transactions. There is much ignorance about blockchain and crypto, not only among law enforcement but also among bankers.  

There have been multiple instances where:  

1. Most big-time legitimate crypto sellers are identified based on their history, but there have been cases where sellers built up their reputation only to scam people suddenly (this is more or less fixed in Binance but still).    
2. When selling USDT or any other crypto, be wary of checking payment details to ensure the crypto account and bank account match.    
3. Do not get too hurried in releasing crypto; double-check the payment.    
Sometimes scammers just send the message and hurry the user to release the crypto, whilst the user has not received any payment.    
4. Always use an authenticator or similar 2FAs to slow down the process, so that you do not end up making a hurried transaction. There is always enough time.  

Even when the transaction was completed without any incident, the bank put a lien and then froze the account.
