In the last 48 hours, the Indian Navy has conducted anti-piracy operations in the Red Sea, saving British, Pakistani, Liberian, and Iranian crew from Houthis &amp; Pirates. 

Now here's an anecdote, I studied with Cdrs and Captains from the USN &amp; Coast Guard - good solid officers. However, one Commander was a partner at a large consulting firm - full of hubris. So you'll see different people everywhere.

Regarding, Indian Navy's ships, I grew up there (Navy brat). The discipline, upkeep, and systems is top notch.

IIRC when this was first posted the guy got called out on numerous details that didn't add up. There is honestly nothing India can do. In cases like these, countries do abandon their agents because trying to defend them is acknowledging the fact that you were spying on them, which is a diplomatic nightmare.

Mossad which is the spy agency of Israel is formidable and very high tech. RAW has collaborated with them previously in many occasions but ,I think they use RaW to exploit Middle East and it ruins our relations with the Middle East. They are accused of spying for Israel. Qatar claims it has evidence. Assuming this is true and they are convicted, typically Israel would do a prisoner exchange after 5-7 years. 

India shouldn't intervene unless it believes they are innocent or if they were spying for India.

Too much hype created using the term "India Navy Officers". These Indian Navy Officers are retired officers. The rhetoric is that " They work for a consulting company in Qatar". All the Middle East Countries have defence services. They don't have native resources to fill up the positions - specially technical ones. A bulk of these are filled up by Pakistanis. Indians too fill up the positions. The particular contractor may have access to the submarine in question. And it was leaked. That doesn't mean all the Indians are spies. It's unfortunate they got involved. It's a risk every one takes. They were not plantes by any power.
