The election commission has not eight to decide who is and isn't an illegal citizen, especially starting it 2 months before the election. 

The people that they disbar will they be allowed to hold take ECI to court, and if they are proven Indian will ECI rehold the election for them.

1) They are frickin spineless!

2) Indira Gandhi was everything Modi ever wish to be! Indira uprooted the khalistan movement at that time, impose emergency when needed, etc etc! 

3) Hindus of wb are equally responsible i feel! Cause neither rome was build in a day nor this uprising of these radicals! The people of India. There are already people who accuse BJP of being dictators. Average Indians are living in a so much propaganda and misinformation, that they have lost all capability to logically think about right and wrong. 

There are huge problems everywhere in the country, not just Bengal. Look at Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala etc.

I think BJP is making a big mistake right now. They missed a golden chance earlier to impose President’s Rule in Bengal and now the chances of winning in 2026 are worse than in 2021.Mamata has outplayed BJP in a many ways. One of them was giving welfare schemes to women even a lot of Hindu women benefited and that ended up dividing BJP’s solid rural hindu vote bank

BJP has mostly relied on non-bhadralok Hindu polarization but even there Mamata is outplaying bjp She’s indirectly pushing for a separate religion status for Adivasi Hindus in areas like Jangalmahal through different orgs. She can’t openly do it because she still needs the Hindu vote but behind the scenes she’s working to split it hindus 

Next election the Muslim vote is going to be even more polarized towards TMC. In 2019 BJP had an edge because of a split in the Muslim vote by 2021 around 70% of Muslims backed TMC and this time it might cross 90% this is the time for BJP to act impose President’s Rule in Bengal. Do a proper census flush out illegal Bangladeshis and delay things until real data is available. Look at districts like Murshidabad  Muslim population has gone from 50% to 77% in just 30 years. Similar trends in Malda and Dinajpur too bengal will be muslim majority in 30 years 

Unless this situation is fixed Bengal should be kept under President’s Rule. We already gave them Bangladesh in 1971 we can’t afford to lose Bengal now to radicals this is BJP’s moment to act delay any further and they can forget Bengal forever

I think the issue is that there is a big sentiment of anto bjp there and do finally people power talks. On reddit we don't feel it but in real world it's more powerful. Manipur also they acted after years! Hopefully they will really police and act here after a few months :((

TMC is the B team of BJP. Same as AIMIM really. BJP can only do Hindu Muslim if Muslims are a threat, so they end up playing both sides.

BJP prefers TMC in power so that they can keep spewing that same Hindu Muslim rivalry by saying Hindus are in danger in the state. 

That doesn’t mean the large scale rioting or illegal migration is right, but otherwise Bengal typically isn't a communal hotbed, with Hindu and Muslim communities largely being a lot more assimilated as compared to places in North India, largely BJP's seat of power.

As for political violence, it unfortunately remains a cultural thing ingrained since the Communists in the 70s. If BJP comes to power right now in Bengal nothing will change with regards to electoral violence - the thugs and goons will just shift loyalties to the new ruling party as they did previously in 2011.

He is an Indian citizen, and he had a Voter ID card with him. He was still abducted by the police, beaten by the BSF and then forcibly expelled from India. 

The fact that he was later brought back just proves that it was a mistake. 

However, there's absolutely no accountability for the police and the paramilitary forces that abducted him. No questions will be asked of the political establishment that green-lit this policy. 

The anchors on prime time will tell you that this is merely an aberration, and in the larger scheme of things we must support the government because they are punishing illegal immigrants. 

What they will not discuss is how only Muslims are being targeted, and how it is only happening in states where the BJP is in power. What they will also not discuss is that imeven if someone is an illegal immigrant, it does not give the police or the paramilitary the right to beat him up or to confiscate his money. What they will also not do is hold the police and the paramilitary accountable for their crimes.

As for the electorate of our nation, the less said the better.

As much as people in this community would like it. We cannot continue to take in illegal Bangladeshi migrants. It’s just not sustainable. It’s way too easy to get fake documents and ID cards once you enter this country, it’s unfortunate but it’s true. 

If border forces don’t act decisively, the system will continue to get flooded and genuine security threats will slip through. Mistakes are unfortunate and must be corrected. But honestly with how easy it is to get fake Aadhar cards and even voter ID cards in this country, we don’t even know if it’s a mistake or not. Which is why this needs to be stopped at the source.

The powers that be have no qualms in using the state machinery against  the common citizen. If all else fails, they do not hesitate in finishing you.
