I hope he files a case in Supreme Court. With all the evidences. Pretty sure the database is going to be copied and exposed will be deleted. So hope the investigating panel will involve cyber forensics team. It is sad there is a breach in the system and current government should address this. I’m not from Karnataka, so I don’t know whats the public opinion there. But in Chhattisgarh, there was no chance of bjp winning the elections. I was thinking now, all these data ECI already has in their database. I mean Rahul Gandhi had to manually go through them and find these fraudulent identities. I mean this should be on Purpose right. 

If ECI wanted they can write a simple python script which can identify these data anomalies like in minutes. **House number = 0, Fathers name = dfhgf,** many people having same house address. Even an intern can make this script. Use LLM if required. ECI can do this so easily. All they need is a laptop.

 I think their is some far more sinister things going on here. Before every election they could have easily vet the people like this. Have centralized data for all the people. Wow this is just plain corruption. Also why is Rahul Gandhi doing the Medias Job, what happen to the investigative Journalism.

I am sure same problem exists in all other assembly segments, not just mahadevapura. Just because congress won other assembly constituencies, does not make those constituencies clean. It is also not a problem of BJP or today, it was the same issue from the time of Nehru...this guy should stop talking about BJP being the sole reason for all problems...if he is really interested in moving country forward, stop blaming just BJP for everything. suggest and support ways to improve and follow them through...that is leadership..I am sure it can start with karnataka which is the king of corruption in India...show how you can transform Bangalore, then people will trust you to transform INDIA

Why Mahadevapura, specifically?
It’s important to understand that this area has a large floating population. Many people have moved to Bangalore for jobs and have been settled here for years, they’ve built their lives here. Expecting them to go back to their hometowns just to vote, or to remove themselves from the voter list there, is not practical.

I’m not defending any wrongdoing, but it’s unfair to single out one constituency and make a generalized statement. What we need is a proper enquiry to identify how many of these so-called “duplicate voters” have actually voted in both places. I’m quite sure that number will turn out to be significantly lower than assumed.

These are opposite extreme ends of the same scenario. scenario is voters list manipulation. In Karnataka RG is accusing ECI of adding people that don't exist so that illegal voting can be done in favor of bjp. This is straightforward. But in Bihar congress is accusing that ECI instead of rectifying mistakes in voters list, is removing actual voters who are likely to not vote for BJP. In both cases the accusation is the same voters list manipulation, the methods are different.

Lmao. ECI added more than 40 lakh new voters in last 6 months before the maharashtra election. And now they are removing more than 50 lakhs existing voters in upcoming bihar election.  Going by the current working of every government institutions be it CBI, ED, SEBI etc it is impossible for an institution like ECI to work impartiality. For the first time in history this Loksabha election has taken almost 2 months to conduct and was done in various phases which is very unusual and can be done in less than 20 days.

Yes, exactly but commission can't remove any name who is living in that area or constituency for any reason. Revised voters list to be provided to the all registered political parties and give at least 6 months time to go through the list and make corrections. These days Aadhar card recognised as identity and all Aadhar card holders to be included in the voters list. Those who doesn't have Aadhar cards also should have the opportunity to be included in the voters list. Fundamental to Aadhar card is house address but it is true that in India poors doesn't have house, mostly they live in footpaths , open areas and moving shelters. These problems to be addressed while revising the voters list. I think apart from timing nobody has any objections to revision of voters list.
