The voter list is frozen 30 days before election and that list is available for every party. Later there is all party meeting where the party representatives can raise their concerns. 

Also any politician worth his salt has his electorate count on his finger tips. If you don't know how many voters are their in the list, then you should stop contesting election.

On the contrary, had Congress managed the infighting among it's party and alliance then they would have performed better.

Congress never left a chance in insulting SS (UBT), it came into prominence when Congress emerged as the largest party with highest seats in Lok Sabha from Maharashtra and that resulted in Nana Patole bombastically insulting SS (UBT), eventually the Congress Prabhari had to keep Patole quiet.

Likewise the management of rebel candidates within MVA was terrible, as each parties allowed the rebel to be contested against the official candidates.

Eg- Satyajit Patankar contested as a rebel against SS(UBT) candidate at Patan, this eventually led to Shiv Sena candidate emerging victorious in the constituency (Shamburaj Desai was the victorious candidate).  
Likewise in Katol, son of late - Shrikant Jichkar contested as a rebel candidate against NCP(SP). This eventually led to BJP getting victorious at the constituency.

On the other hand, BJP made it's candidate contest on behalf of Shiv Sena (Nilesh Rane and Shaina NC) and NCP (Sanjay Patil) symbols, in that contest the rebel management in Yuti was better.
