The permanent voter base of rjd is the real problem that many people who dislike both parties rjd&amp; jdu can't shift to third option as it may directly benefit rjd. Since rjd has almost permanent voter base constituting almost 45% ± 5% of state population.

Coming to bjp bihar they are no different, they have many leaders who were earlier in either jdu or rjd. Even they are equally incompetent like others.

The party isn't only problem but the permanent voter base close to half of population is the problem too which restricts people from electing new representatives.

I am someone who is from nalanda. In my locality try badmouthing rjd and out of nowhere Y goons will appear and start arguing with you and most probably with full of aggression. They can't listen to you my place is fucked cause of them actually the real destroyer of my place most credits goes to lalu's community. Even last time they lost election by just 13 votes. ( I shall leave my place if they win election from here again)

Democratic system needs robust identification of its electorate. 

If you cant prove that you are a citizen ( there are plethora of documents that can start the process of identification) then you will considered as undocumented immigrants and you wont be able to participate in election process

Onus is on the citizen to provide documents, not the other way around

It marginalises lakhs of valid voters to prove their citizenship through documents that the labour class doesn’t own or very difficult to obtain. 

Announcing such a move with just 4 week window is a sure way to invalidate eligible voters. Proving citizenship has never been the necessity for EC in India. At the direction of BJP now they are trying to act as a NRC. 

Special Intensive Revision is plain de-enfranchisement done by the ruling govt.

Let me direct you to the provisions that highlight why the EC decision is illegal. 

(1) ECI cannot be the arbiter of citizenship. 

Section 19 of the The Representation of the People Act 1950  explains what is an “ordinary resident”

(2) ECI providing a qualifying date of 01/07/2025 contravenes be Section 21 of RPA 

The date should 01/01/2025

This has been allowed by the Courts, it will eventually come under scrutiny. Unfortunately our courts these days allow malice to occur and then “chastise” the wrongdoing later as they chastised the BJP-Shinde Sena in Maharashtra after they illegally split a political party, when the next election was only two months away.

Our institutions are crumbling, and regardless of which party rules, they are deeply in crisis. I am not Pro or Against any party. I am simply stating the law.
