Almost all these Middle East monarchies were set up by the West and specifically the British to create neo colonial client states. 

While they are certainly more independent than they used to be they are still entrenched in the positions the British created for them. They rely heavily on the west for protection from not just outside threats but their own citizens.

The UK is not a great example, as it is supporting the genocide - and, indeed, arming Israel. But your point is valid. The Arab world is very divided on this. It’s amazing that Ireland, principally a Catholic country and Argentina (also very Catholic) have been so vocal is support of Palestine, whereas Saudi Arabia has not. And don’t get me started on Jordan, whose conduct has been shameful. 

It is sad but true that business and money seem to be all-important. Interestingly, I have often tried to buy something in a shop in the UK, owned and run by Muslims, only to find that I cannot find any non-Zionist brands for sale there. And I try hard not to support Zionist-supporting companies. It amazes me that UK Muslims continue to support these people.

As a Ukrainian, I'm obviously pro-Ukrainian, but I'm also pro-Israel.

There are a lot of Jews in Ukraine, there are a lot of Ukrainians in Israel, and many families are intertwined. For instance, my school chum moved to Israel with her family after the war broke out in 2022.

It's just that Israel isn't much different from Ukraine; it has a similar culture, Western culture. A lot of Ukrainians went to Israel for medical treatment, because Israel was able to build one of the best medical systems in the world.

A lot of Ukrainian artists support Israel. This includes Max Barskih, who was in Israel with a concert when Iran attacked Israel with drones in April 2024. This includes Kola, who was in Israel during the Nova massacre, and whose spouse/fiancée is from Israel. This includes Alyona Alyona, who performed in Israel in 2023 with Netta Barzilai. This includes Verka Serduchka, who was a part of the interval act of ESC 2019 in Tel-Aviv. This includes LOBODA (controversial in Ukraine), who performs in Israel regularly. This also includes the legendary group Okean Elzy, which performed in Israel several times. This includes Dorofeeva, Volodymyr Dantes, and more.

October 7 is similar to February 24, except that October 7 was a total surprise, while February 24 was kinda a matter of time. If Russia hadn't attacked Ukraine, then no civilian casualties, no soldiers would have died from both sides, and no sanctions would have been imposed.

It's also important to note that Ukraine and Israel have a common enemy - Iran. Iran is backing Russia with Shahed drones, and Iran is also backing Palestine, aka Hamas, aka its proxy, so it's basically Israel vs. Iran. So, we're on the same side. Russia, which attacked Ukraine, is quite hostile to Israel, and it was also seen during the Syrian civil war, since they were on different sides.

My opinion is strongest for Ukraine, Russia has no actual defense for attacking them, and I am strongly pro-NATO. On Israel, I do think that they have a right to destroy Hamas, as Hamas are nothing but a cancer on this world. The war itself happening is justified, but the way they fight is not. Pro Ukraine because Russia is trying to play the game of imperialism again knowing full well it’s never getting its glory days back. All it takes is a major event like hitting the bridge that connects Crimea to the mainland to cripple their front immensely. Pro Palestine because Israel has caused ethnic cleaning on a national scale starting from its inception. I’m not saying HAMAS is morally obligated to kill Israelis en masse but you need to understand the background and what it’s in response to. Israel killing 60000+ people and majority of it being women and children is enough to tell me who’s leading responsibility after the war
