To all the people who say that this attack had nothing to do with caste don't understand that the comment made by the judge, though not in good taste, was not the first to be made by a judge. Judges have made bizarre comments before but how many have been attacked?

I didn't know the caste of the current CJI but soon as the attack on him was made and the mood of attack made me guess his caste. 

It is the inherent disdain some people have towards dalits which give them the audacity to carry out such attacks. 

It is the caste bias which make people unable to stomach that a person from dalit class is now sharing space with them. Even though they may not show their bias directly, they will not shy away from showing it when the opportunity arises. 

Some lose comments were made during shabrimala case but the judge did not face any attack like this. This type of attack was deliberate to show the judge his place, even if he is the CJI. To show that his place was that of a shoe.
 
 The attack with the shoe or with footwear was usually made against dalits as the attacker wouldn't want to touch them with their person or with other objects which would become "polluted" otherwise. 

The audacity of the attack and the manner of attack show the caste bias.  If you are unable to understand this subtle caste bias then you are too privileged to be in places where this kind of atrocities take place or too blind to notice it.

Brahminism/Sanatan/Varnashrama/Jaati/Casteism/Hindutva all are same. Read Chandogya Upanishad 5.10.7*, smritis (Manu, Yajnavalkya etc) and commentaries well into 16/17th century to understand it.

Well, any act of violence isnt acceptable in democratic society and especially at institutes which are responsible for maintaining that democracy intact.

But the interesting part with the current scenario is the so called CJI went a bit over board with his uncalled for statements while sitting on the same chair. People differ in opinion, thats acceptable - but in a large society when these statements are blown out of proportion, the theatrics start. 

Hooliganism has been part our of society for ages and this won't be the last one either. But somewhere these heads of democratic institutions better hold back their vile statements and maintain that sanctity of the house for which it is intended for.

Supreme Court should make a rule to report and share only full videos of complete case proceedings of the day on social media and not short clips.

Even while reporting the news, for every case hearing, court should first publish what should be the title of the news article based on the particular hearing, and only those set of titles should be permissible to report in news articles. 

In course of hearing judges ask questions to get reposnses from lawyers, advocates and petitioners to frame the applicability of particular law or decide on merits of whether particular provision is applicable or not.

Courtroom proceedings are treated like TV news media debate room utterings and create rage-baits.

Often, questions asked by court are construed as stand taken by court when they are anything but that.

Don't cite the case without context. The CJI was pi**ed at the person who got the case of installation of Vishnu idol to the SC. For context, multiple cases have come in of this sort and they are supposed to be vetted by ASI before they come to the court.

When there are backlogs of much more important cases, these half set cases make no sense to flood the docket. The background of the CJI has nothing to do here. Any insistence on this case has provoked the ire of the CJI to let the deity themselves make one for them. 

Every sane person sitting there will feel the same. Offense lena national pastime hai. All in the name of gods and deities. None of these followers care what message their deities give.

As for Skin doctor, he is a bigot who churns out tweets to  create divisions between people.
