It's heartbreaking to see that honesty chooses to take it's own life unable to thrive in a place as corrupt as India (always has been the case) but it's literally even more disappointing to see a missed opportunity to not take any of the corrupt swines alongwith.

It is extremely said to see this, but why choose death. We know this system is not going to change, the only way is to keep fighting. His death caused a nation to lose a honest officer and a loss for his family which cannot be recover. 
I truly respect his stand on the matter but I am really upset about the action he took. I also understand that he took this stance because he see no way out and he was being framed but eventually it caused us more pain. 

Unfortunately, we live in country where leader justify crime, corruption. Rape is justified, murder is justified… 

Sometimes I feel we are the one who cause all this. We allow corruption to grow and then complain when it hit back.

Also this is why redditors need to stop acting like judge. This case seems to be getting more and more complex, is YS Puran Kumar's the real evil or is his image being tarnished, is Sandeep Kumar saying the truth or was he pressured to do this, there's just questions and no answers.

I don't think Haryana police will be able to properly investigate this case given the police department itself is involved here, hope this case gets transferred to CBI and actual culprit gets caught and brought to justice no matter who it is.

The ips who died was an honest civil servant and always used to stand up to his superiors about being discriminated against on the basis of his caste.

Alleging Caste discrimination to cover bad deeds is what majority of cases of caste discrimination actually is . Not getting promotion because of bad work, make up stories of caste discrimination. 

SC/ST act was threatened to a gang rape victim family, telling them not to report gang rape. These are barely covered in mainstream media now

This seems to be either forceful suicide by threatening that ASI or staged suicide to divert attention from ADGP suicide. See how this guy made scapegoat to make accused in the slain AGDP case as innocent. Some officer is saying he is very honest and sincere to make that allegations he made true and divert the attention from corrupt higher ups. That slain ADGP can also be corrupt but that doesn’t make the discrimination correct.

This case is very unusual. Like, someone who has the guts to do corruption won't be opting for suicide as their first option and even if the ADGP was corrupt this second suicide makes zero sense. Some very influential people are behind this case for sure.

It's not tough to understand. This cop was mentally and emotionally ghastly disturbed after seeing high levels of corruption in the Police Department, including the Puran Kumar case, which he was himself assisting on. He said he was baffled that upon being caught, Puran Kumar committed suicide rather than face the infamy of corruption charges. While dying, he seems to have cleverly made it a caste issue so that at least his wife and family will have a saving grace. This gives Puran Kumar's family the alibi of saying that all those corruption cases are non-sensical and fabricated, and the real reason was caste politics. 

By all the given evidence, it is indeed true that IPS Puran Kumar had made certain caste based complaints, but coming from a police family back ground myself, I can say that it is the most common form of misuse that reserved class police officers make whenever their demands are not met. This is no different than how common citizens misuse the SC/ST act or how the "alimony women" misuse domestic violence and anti dowry laws. Since Puran Kumar had previous caste based complaints to fall back on, he felt it safe to refer to them in his suicide note as the cause ofhis suicide, while the real reason all the time was that he had been heavily compromised in corruption matters. This is what the suicide video of this ASI is suggesting, that Puran's was never a caste attrocity based suicide but rather a corruption based suicide. He is saying officers like him have been taking money to let people go off even serious cases like murders. This is a fraud on the nation. By exposing this corruption racket, he was clearly stressed that the Target will now be on his back (he will face wrath of the SC lobby of Kumar as well as other non SC but corrupt officers, basically all the names he directly/indirectly took in the letter/video), so he committed suicide.
