This military action raises concerns over foreign intervention and stability in Latin America, making it a topic of national interest.

Public Sentiment Summary

Public sentiment regarding the U.S. military deployment in Venezuela is predominantly negative and divided, with many expressing deep skepticism about the true motivations behind the intervention, particularly concerns about imperialism and oil interests overshadowing any legitimate aim of combating drug trafficking. Many commenters highlight their discontent with perceived hypocrisy in U.S. actions and express strong support for Venezuelan sovereignty, fearing further escalation of conflict.

America and Venezuela can kill out one another

The issue was never about drugs. The 'war on drugs' is merely a pretext to access Venezuela's honey pot of oil.

This is crazy and sick. War with people that don’t even have any idea that they’re in a war.

Just so happens Venezuela has one of the largest oil reserves in the world. Coincidence, I think not.
