Nearly all of the nation is calling this terrorism. Because it is. And calling for just treatment of perps, equal to treatment of any Palestinian terrorist.

The “impunity” etc is an extremely ignorant / deceitful view.

IDF have clashed with these terrorists, arrests, etc. Definitely insufficient, but far from impunity. In many cases, soldiers were also attacked by these nuts.

Many of these criminals are delinquent teens,  with higher than usual percentage of whom are certified mental / psychotic issues to begin with, living in rehab and halfway villages run by and/or co-occupied by brainwashy religious nutcases — zero excuse, but it makes the situation more challenging to mitigate.

For each of these shameful criminals, there are a few hundred normative sellers who truly are just that: settlers. Pioneers. Happy to live among Palestinians, as neighbors, as colleagues, as sellers and as buyers of each others’ goods etc.

The quicker to jail / closed mental institution with these criminal juvenile psychos, the better.

And like many others, I’m 100% in favor that our tax money should be used to repay those who suffered at their hands. Biblically at least 2x the damage cost. And preferably taken from the gov funds given to assist the kind of halfway villages they were uneducated in.

2019, school trip to Palestine, senior year of high school. 

had extensive classes beforehand outlining the political situation, what to expect, how to act, specifically to say it was a religious trip to see Christian sites, and that if they said "like birthrite?" to respond "exactly" 

vice principles Palestinian friend told us when we arrived, to notice the change in IDF members' faces when they noticed us. 

we'd see them doing shit like this as we turned a corner, or harrassing folks at a checkpoint, then stop, literally pick them up and "help" them dust off or straighten their clothing, and act like nothing had happened as we came around. 

makes me feel sick just thinking about it. 

years later, I see a couple people on that trip posting in support of Israel and feel like I'm going insane, like did you not see what I saw? did you not have the conversations with the locals that I had? we were on the same trip, right? 

it was starkly pro-Palestine, just by putting the facts out there. idk how anybody could walk away any differently than I did.

I have a Jewish friend with family back in Israel. He said the majority of Israelis see the Palestinians as basically just as guilty as Hamas and other terror groups. From what I see, besides the inappropiate destruction of food, the soldier do not seem to act overly physically aggressive.
He ignores the two other guys behind the desk and goes straight forward for the one in black. No hitting, no gun waving, nothing.
Also the other two arabs do seem to be not attached to the taken one.

From the looks, this could be a normal police situation like it happens almost every weekend everywhere in the world.
